The City of Darebin's Community Leaders in Sustainability course was the incubator for the Wecycle project.
Through the CLS course, Craig and I turned a sharedpassion about bicycles as an affordable and sustainable means of transport that helps address community concerns about pollution, our reliance on fossil fuels and traffic congestion into a meaningful way to make a difference..
The support and enthusiasm from the presenters and other course members group gave us inspiration and drive to see what can be achieved through like-minded people coming together and sharing their commitment to sustainability.
A big thanks to our families for their support and putting up with all the bikes in the backyard!
